生活型

形態特徵

Small shrubs with creeping rhizomes; stems ascending, usually branched, up to 45 cm tall, minutely fuscous-lepidote when young.
Leaves obovate or elliptic, apex obtuse or short obtusely acuminate or acute, base cuneate or acute, usually undulate or obtusely dentate above middle, sometimes entire, glabrous above, lepidote below.
Inflorescences 3–10-Flowered, pedunculate. Calyx lobes usually triangular-ovate, lepidote below, margins ciliate; corolla lobes white or pink, triangular-ovate, not punctate; stamens not punctate; ovary subglobose, glabrous; ovules 5 or 6 in a whorl.
Fruit globose, black.

分布

台灣 : at low altitudes in the north and south.
世界 : Malaysia, Indochina, China and the Ryukyus.
